Medicare in 2024
How does the Medicare process work? How can I make Medicare work for me – my health, my prescriptions drugs, and my doctors? How do I deal with the gaps in Medicare coverage? The issue is not in understanding Medicare basics, the issue is often with health care costs that are not covered—such as premiums, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, dental, vision, and hearing aids. What is not covered can result in substantial costs. I will meet with you, where we will discuss the Medicare process, we will discuss what Medicare covers and what Medicare does not cover and your Medicare options allowing you to confidently find the right plan for your needs. If the cost of your prescription drugs is a financial struggle, let's discuss strategies for prescription drug savings. If dental care is important to you, let's discuss your dental options.
Initial enrollment in Medicare Parts A and B and in a Medicare plan is just the beginning, there will be continuing changes in Medicare and changes in your circumstances. Changes in both the federal Medicare program and changes by Medicare approved carriers and changes in your prescription drugs and doctors. As changes happen, let’s talk. Your health and peace of mind are very important.

Medicare
Part A & B
Original Medicare is a Federal health insurance program that has 2 parts: Part A and Part B. You typically pay a portion of the costs for covered services. Part A covers inpatient hospital and skilled nursing services. Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient services, and some preventative care.
Medicare
Advantage
A Medicare Advantage Plan (like an HMO or PPO) is a great way to get your Medicare coverage through private insurance companies. Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MAPD Plans,” are offered by Medicare-approved private insurance companies that follow rules set by Medicare and can be facilitated by one of our health insurance brokers in St. Louis.
